Your birth time is crucial because it determines your Rising sign (Ascendant) and the house placements of your planets. The Rising sign changes approximately every 2 hours, and house positions can shift throughout the day. If you don't know your exact time, try using noon as an approximation, but be aware that some interpretations may not be accurate.

You need to know at least the city where you were born. The geographical location affects your chart because it determines your local time zone and the horizon line used to calculate houses and your Rising sign. If you're unsure of the exact hospital, using the city center is usually sufficient for accurate calculations.
